Oh Yes it was a hard one :) . I've never used a hot pot, but as I know how it works it is very hard to control what is happening inside and impossible to anneal the piece properly.  And without the annealing, the piece which thickness differs  will crack.

so i guess you've got an oven to fuse glass? i'd love to have one, but actually i've got more than enough hobby's already. and a very young child too. so glass fusion is a bit hard to combine whit that.
a hot pot is kind of a surprise egg of glass objects. and a small one at that as well. anyway impressive work of yours!! really love it!

Yes, I have a kiln with a electronic programmer, so I can control time and temperature very precisely. Oh, I had to choose one from my interests to go into, it would be impossible to do everything that is interesting, day is too short :) The important thing is to have fun and learn interesting stuff :)
